Floral traits predict pollination in endemic Syzygium species

Sinu and his colleagues from ATREE (Dr. Shivanna) and Sacred Heart College (Dr. GIby Kuriakose) studied floral and reproductive traits of four species of Syzygium endemic to the Western Ghats and suggest these traits predict entomophily, anemophily, ambophily, and ornithophily in those species. The research findings has been published in the current issue of Australian Journal of Botany.
